SMS Consent & Terms
Terms and conditions for receiving SMS/MMS messages from Avocado Coaching.
Overview
Avocado Coaching provides personalized nutrition coaching services delivered via SMS and MMS text messages. By opting in to our messaging program, you agree to receive coaching messages, reminders, check-ins, and other related communications from Avocado at the phone number you provide.
How to Opt-In
To enroll in Avocado Coaching SMS messages, you must complete the following:
- Join the coaching waitlist at avocado.app/coaching
- Receive an invitation email when a spot becomes available
- Complete the onboarding process, including providing your mobile phone number
- Explicitly consent to receive SMS messages by checking the consent box during enrollment
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any services. You can still receive coaching through other means if you prefer not to receive SMS messages.
Message Types
By opting in, you may receive the following types of messages:
- Questions & Answers: Responses to your nutrition and coaching questions
- Meal Feedback: Nutritional analysis and feedback on meals you share via photo
- Daily Reminders: Check-in prompts to help you stay on track
- Progress Check-ins: Periodic messages to review your progress and adjust your plan
- Photo Requests: Requests to share meal photos or progress updates
- Educational Content: Tips, articles, and resources relevant to your goals
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your engagement level and coaching plan. You may receive:
- 1-5 messages per day during active coaching periods
- Responses to your incoming messages within business hours
- Fewer messages during weekends or based on your preferences
You can discuss message frequency preferences with your coach at any time.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Avocado does not charge additional fees for SMS/MMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for each message sent or received according to your plan.
Contact your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan and any associated costs.
How to Opt-Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Avocado Coaching.
After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. You will not receive any additional SMS messages unless you opt back in.
Opting out of SMS messages does not automatically cancel your coaching subscription. Please contact us separately if you wish to cancel your coaching program.

Privacy
Your phone number and personal information are protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
